THATTA: A devastating road accident in Makli Bai Ghulamullah Chowk on Wednesday resulted in the deaths of three members of a family and left a young girl injured.
According to local police, the victims included a woman and her two children — a son and a daughter. Another girl from the same family sustained serious injuries when a speeding trailer collided with their hut while they were asleep, crushing them inside.
Rescue teams and police rushed to the scene after receiving reports of the incident. The deceased have been identified as Amir, Janki, and Gaddi, all members of the same family. The injured child was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities confirmed that the trailer driver is in police custody, and an investigation into the accident has been initiated. After completing formalities, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to their grieving family.
