KARACHI: In a heartbreaking incident in the Gizri neighborhood of Karachi, a seven-month-old baby lost his life after falling from a residential building, police confirmed on Thursday. The authorities responded promptly after receiving an emergency call and arrived at the scene to find the child already deceased.
Police officials reported that the exact floor or window from which the child fell has not yet been established. The body was transported to Gizri police station for further examination, and investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances leading to the tragedy.
This incident echoes a similar case reported last month, when a newborn was found dead after allegedly being thrown from the upper floors of a high-rise building in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. According to police reports, the baby’s body was discovered behind the building during routine cleaning, with evidence indicating that the infant had been thrown from an upper level.
Authorities are examining evidence collected from multiple floors of the building to ascertain the events that led to the death, as they work to identify and apprehend those responsible for both incidents.
