Trump administration ready to discuss Pakistan’s missile program, US envoy

Washington: The special envoy of the newly elected US President Donald Trump, Richard Grenell, has said that the foreign minister-designate has prepared to discuss Pakistan’s missile program.

Donald Trump’s designated special envoy, Richard Grenell, disclosed this in an interview on Pakistan, adding that deals with nuclear-capable countries are handled differently.

In response to a question regarding the former government of Pakistan, Richard Grenell said that Donald Trump had excellent relations with the then Pakistani government during his first tenure.

Regarding Imran Khan, Richard Grenell said, Pakistan’s captive ex-prime minister did not come into politics naturally like Donald Trump. The allegations are the same as those against Trump.

The current spokesperson of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Matthew Miller, described the conversation with the media as complicated and said that the real thing is to release the former prime minister of Pakistan.
