In a short interview with Axios, President Trump called the agreement a “historic day for Israel and the world,” and confirmed that he is likely to make a trip to Israel in the near future.Trump also shared details of a “great” phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after the deal was reached. He said, “Netanyahu is very pleased, and rightfully so. This is a tremendous milestone. Even countries that were once opposed are coming together for this achievement.”
