WASHINGTON: U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that the United States will carry out a severe attack on Iran tonight and will soon take control of Iran’s oil and gas infrastructure.
In a statement posted on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated that Iran’s navy, air force, radar systems, and all defense mechanisms have been dismantled. He asserted that the U.S. will launch intense strikes against Iran later tonight.
Furthermore, Trump predicted that in the near future, the U.S. will seize key oil centers, including Kharg Island, and gain complete control over Iran’s oil and gas markets.
In his remarks, Trump cited Venezuela as an example, claiming that the U.S. has previously acted similarly in Venezuela, which he said resulted in benefits for both the United States and Venezuela.
