WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning that if unpredictable circumstances arise, the United States may carry out even more intense and larger-scale military strikes on Iran.
Through a social media statement, Trump indicated that U.S. naval vessels, aircraft, and troops will continue to operate in the vicinity of Iran. He cautioned that any sudden or unexpected developments could trigger a series of aggressive retaliations, surpassing previous actions in scale and severity.
Trump reaffirmed that existing agreements prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He also noted that the U.S. military remains on high alert, confident and prepared for its next strategic move.
