ISLAMABAD: Mr. Alparslan Bayraktar, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkiye, met with Field Marshal Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ) today.
The meeting focused on topics of mutual interest, particularly the enhancement of Pak-Turkiye collaboration in the energy sector, the strengthening of bilateral relations, and exploring opportunities for strategic cooperation.
Both parties reiterated their dedication to advancing partnerships in areas of common objectives and fostering regional stability. The COAS emphasized the long-standing and historic brotherly ties between Pakistan and Turkiye, extending gratitude for Turkiye’s consistent support to Pakistan on various international platforms.
Minister Bayraktar expressed Turkiye’s commitment to expanding cooperation in the energy field and acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace, stability, and sustainable development.
