Ankara: Member of Turkish Parliament Dogan Bekin has called for settlement of Kashmir dispute through holding of plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir as per UN resolutions.
Talking to media in Ankara today, he said on August 05, 2019, Indian government repealed Articles 370 and 35A which guaranteed special status and rights to Jammu and Kashmir and its residents.
He called upon Turkish government to take a leading role in safeguarding rights and aspirations of Kashmiri people.
