Turncoats Harmed Politics Very Much: Raja Pervez Ashraf

RAWALPINDI: Accountability Court (AC) of Rawalpindi has adjourned the hearing of the illegal recruitment in GEPCO case against a leader of Pakistan People’s Party and former premier Raja Pervez Ashraf until July 10.

The Rawalpindi AC headed by Judge Muhammad Naeem Arshad heard the illegal hiring in the GEPCO against accused in the case Raja Pervez Ashraf and others.

The accused have been provided the copies of questioners after the conclusion of statements of witnesses before the judge.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing until July 10.

After the hearing, ex-premier Raja Pervez Ashraf talking to media heavily criticized the meeting of PML-N MPAs with Prime Minister Imran Khan and declared it harmful for democracy.

He also hinted raising voice against the government anti-people budget.

It is pertinent to mention here that the anti-graft body, NAB, has nominated eight-person including Raja Pervez Ashraf in the corruption reference of illegal recruitment of 437 people in the GEPCO.
