Twin suicide blasts left three police officers killed in Jakarta

Jakarta (May 25, 2017): Three police officers were killed and 10 others were injured after two suicide bombers suicide bombers blew themselves up at Jakarta bus station on Wednesday night, said police.

Police spokesperson Setyo Wasisto confirmed that at least three police officers were killed and five other policemen and five civilian suffered injuries in the suicide attacks.     

It is not clear yet that who carried out the attacks as none claimed the responsibility.

Earlier, on January 14,2016, seven people had been killed after a series of blasts rocked Indonesian capital. local media had reported that at least three explosions occurred in the Cikni, Silpi and Kuningan neighbourhoods, near the Pakistani and Turkish embassies.
