WEB DESK: Two police officers lost their lives, and three others were seriously injured when a police mobile van was struck by a high-speed train in Sargodha. Reports indicate that the train was en route from Karachi.
The incident took place near the 78 Bridge area, where a Cantonment Police mobile van was conducting a routine patrol.
While attempting to cross an unguarded railway crossing, the van collided with the Millat Express, which was traveling at a high speed toward Karachi.
The collision resulted in the immediate death of two officers in the van, while three others suffered severe injuries.
