Islamabad: On a matter of espionage of Prime Minister office telephones two hackers were arrested today.
The government sources have confirmed that two person were arrested for espionage of Prime Minister office phones.
The duo arrested after the probe of audio leaks of phone related to Prime Minister office. The both the people were arrested by an intelligence agency.
One hacker belongs to Rawalpindi where he is associated with an educational institution. The other hacker hails from a city in central Punjab.
Both the hackers have been handed over to a national security institution where investigations are underway.
They were in contact with the staff deployed on the PMO security. It is expected that people deployed on the PMO security would also be arrested shortly.
It is pertinent to mention here that the audio leaks of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and former premier Imran Khan have surfaced.
