RAWALPINDI: The DIG Jail Rawalpindi Region, Abdul Rauf Rana, issued the dismissal order, stating that Head Warders Muhammad Arshad and Muhammad Safdar were found involved in corruption.
According to the order, the head warders could not present any evidence in their defense.
The order further explained that complaints had been lodged by prisoners against the corrupt head warders. Both head warders were assigned to the kitchen and search duties of the prisoners.
The order also mentioned that an inquiry was initiated in January 2025, and the head warders were found to be involved in accepting bribes from the prisoners.
