Rajanpur: Collision between police van and truck, 2 policemen martyred, 2 injured.
As a result of a collision between a police van and a truck in Rajanpur, 2 policemen were martyred and 2 were injured.
According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, the police party was going in pursuit of drug peddlers on the information of delivery of liquor when the accident took place near Khetran Pump on Indus Highway Road.
The police spokesman said that two policemen, Attaullah and Muhammad Kashif were martyred in the accident, while Sub-Inspector Zeeshan and Constable Ghulam Muhammad were injured.
The policemen were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital for medical assistance.
