Ghotkhi: Two police personnel embraced martyrdom as robbers attacked on a police check post in Ghotki.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sameer Noor apprised that as many as more than dozen robbers belonging to Shar gang were involved in the attack.
The SSP further informed that the robbers used modern arms and amunitions and fired rocket launcher.
The funeral prayers of martyred policemen Zaheer Theam and Abdul Qadir Mehar were offered in the police line Mirpur Mathelo.
CM expresses grief
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has expressed sorrow over martyrdom of two policemen in the robbers attack on a police check post in Ghotki.
The CM has sought a report from Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon over the incident.
Syed Murad Ali Shah has also ordered the IG to speed up operation against the robbers in Ghotki.

Home Minister Sindh Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar has shared condolence to heirs of martyred policemen in the robbers attack on Andal Sandarani Police check post in Gothki.
He said that we are with bereaved families of the martyred policeman in this time of sorrow.
He also sought a report from the SSP Ghotki over the incident while he also ordered to bring speed in the targeted operation.
He also directed to make police further imperative and coordinated through mutual relations.
