RAWALPINDI: Two prisoners have died in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi. According to sources, Muhammad Amin, a resident of Rawat, passed away in Adiala Jail due to a heart condition. The sources stated that the prisoner was taken to Rawalpindi Cardiology Hospital due to the heart issue, but he died on the way to the hospital.
Jail sources mentioned that the deceased prisoner was in Adiala Jail for a check dishonor case.
The second prisoner who died in Adiala Jail was Ilyas Nazar. According to jail sources, Ilyas Nazar was being transferred to PIMS Hospital due to health issues but also passed away on the way to the hospital. Jail sources added that prisoner Ilyas Nazar had been arrested in a drug-related case.
