SHUJABAD: Two sanitary workers died on Thursday night due to suffocation while cleaning a manhole in Shujabad near Multan.
As per details, the incident took place, when three municipality workers fell unconscious when they were cleaning a manhole in Motly area of Shujabad.
After getting information, the rescue teams reached the spot and rescued bodies of two workers from the manhole. The third worker was rescued in unconscious condition.
Rescue sources said that the all municipality workers belonged to Multan. The identity of the deceased workers is not yet known.
