KYIV: Russian forces fired missiles at several cities in Ukraine after President Vladimir Putin authorised a military operation.
According to the Ukranian Presidency, as many as 40 of its soldiers and 10 civilians have been killed in Russian attack.
18 civilians in Ukraine’s Odessa were also killed in a missile attack.
