Islamabad: The Scholars met with Chief of the Army Staff (COAF) Hafiz Asim Munir. Ulamas and Mashaikhs unanimously condemned extremism, terrorism and sectarianism
According to the Inter Services Public Relation Pakistan (ISPR) Army Chief Hafiz Asim Munir met with the Ulemas and Mashaikhs. Ulemas and Mashaikhs determined to continue support the efforts of the security forces to bring tolerance, peace and stability to the country. they also condemned of extremism, terrorism and sectarianism in the country, the Scholars said that distorted interpretations of religion have no relation with Islamic teachings. The Scholars fully appreciated Pakistan’s stand on terrorism from Afghan soil also they expressed outrage at the atrocities in Gaza, calling them crimes against humanity.
