Umar Ayub demands formation of judicial commission for probing attack on Rauf Hassan

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) secretary general and Opposition leader in the National Assembly (NA) Umar Ayub has warned if any such attack were happened next time we will stage protest all across the country.

Addressing a presser along with injured Rauf Hassan, Umar Ayub said that assisnation attempted on Rauf Hassan and attackers not left any bid to harm him.

The Opposition Leader in the NA said that we strongly condemned attack on the party central information secretary adding that we have lodged an FIR of the attack and rejected an FIR released by the Islamabad police.

He said that no talk of terrorism was written in the FIR of the Islamabad police. He demanded a judicial commission for probing the attack on Rauf Hassan.

He reitreated his point of view that if there is not supremacy of law then there will no foreign investment come to the country.

What happened to our party in the last two years are not hidden to any body, Umar Ayub said.

Rauf Hassan at the occasion said that we said for the May 9 that a judicial commission be formed and then punnish the perpetrators.

Our aim is to bring democracy in the country and we will must do it adding that such trite maneuvers can’t stop the passion of the PTI, Rauf Hassan said.

He said that his wounds would be reddressed but wounds on the country by one person dictotarship will never get over.

He said that no any narrative against the PTI has gotten successful in the last two years.

The United Nations delegation comprising five members visited the PTI central secretariat and asked the health of Rauf Hassan.
