Islamabad: The opposition leader in National Assembly (NA)and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) secretary general Umar Ayub on Thursday submitted a privilege motion in the NA against the raid on his house on July 7.
The opposition leader has demanded to seek reply from Secretary Interior, Punjab and high police officials of Islamabad.
Umar Ayub said that Islamabad and Punjab police without any legal reason raided his house.
The PTI secretary general said that the NA Speaker had advance information of the rain but he didn’t inform him.
He said that not as a member of the parliament but as a opposition leader his privilege was hurt.
He said that such types of measures are dangerous for the parliamentary traditions.
