A 72-hour ceasefire is being reached between the government forces and the rebels in Yemen.
The ceasefire will go in effect on Wednesday night and could be further extended.
UN envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed announced the ceasefire after securing commitments from all the warring parties.
Earlier, Yemeni Foreign Minister Abdel-Malek al-Mekhlafi said on his official Twitter that President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has agreed to the 72-hour ceasefire.
