Karachi: Unidentified assailants sprayed bullets on police constable and his wife resulting in his death while his wife sustained injuries in Steel Town neighborhood of Karachi.
The deceased police constable identified as Khamiso Jhokio, the police apprised.
The police apprised that the incident occurred owing to personal enmity. The police constable was deployed at Steel Town police station, police said.
Home minister Sindh Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar taking notice of the incident has called a report from the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir.
The deceased constable wife transferred to a near-by hospital.
