Washington: US imposed sanctions on four Pakistani entities involved in ballistic missile program.

In a statement issued by the spokesperson of the US Department of State, it is said that sanctions have been imposed on four Pakistani entities under the executive order in view of Pakistan’s development of long-range missiles and the threat of its proliferation.

According to the statement, the decision was implemented to prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery.

The four Pakistani companies that the US has imposed sanctions on include National Development Complex (NDC), Akhtar and Sons Private Limited, Philates International and Rockside Enterprise.

Among them, the Islamabad-based National Development Complex (NDC) has acquired various items for the preparation of Pakistan’s long-range ballistic missile program, including special vehicle chassis for missile launching, according to the statement. are used for supporting equipment and testing.’

The statement said that the US has come to the knowledge that the NDC is responsible for the production of Pakistan’s other ballistic missiles, including the Shaheen series missiles.
