KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar has said that we have very limited powers, but our passion and commitment is unlimited, adding that a 100-day project to clean the city is being presented.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar said that he has taken part in local bodies system devised without resources and powers; hence he vowed to fulfill requirements of people of Karachi no matter what limitation of the resources are available.
Waseem Akhtar said that to serve people of Karachi indiscriminately, while roads will be repaired on priority basis. He said that MQM will move forward along with all parties elected representatives. Karachi is the hub of Pakistan and Sindh, but sadly the city is deprived of its shares, which it deserved.
