NEW YORK: United Nations Security Council (UNSC) condemned the latest ballistic missile test by Iran.
According to the details, the UN Security Council emergency meeting was summoned over the request of United States.
The US ambassador to UNSC Nikki Haley said in the meeting that Tehran was bound to avoid production or test fire ballistic missiles in accordance with the nuclear deal. He said Iran should avoid the ballistic missiles technology.
While Iranian Foreign Minister Muhammad Javad Zarif said that their missile program was not against any country and US should not be worried about it. He said that their missile program was for the security of their country.
Iranian Foreign Minister said that any tests conducted by his country did not violate international commitments.
