WASHINGTON: The United States has once again condemned the terrorist incident in occupied Kashmir and emphasized that those responsible for this incident should be brought to justice, said Tammy Bruce
While addressing a press briefing, Bruce addressed concerns regarding the escalating tensions along the India-Pakistan border following the Pahalgam terror attack.
When questioned about the situation, She stated, “I will not be making any comments on that matter. Nothing further will be said. The President, the Secretary, and the Deputy Secretary have already shared their thoughts on the issue.”
In regard to whether President Trump plans to mediate between India and Pakistan concerning the Kashmir issue—similar to his approach during his first term—Bruce remained tight-lipped. Following the terror attack, President Trump reached out to Prime Minister Modi to convey his condolences.
The United States stands firmly with India against terrorism. Prime Minister Modi and the wonderful people of India have our unwavering support and deepest sympathies. Our hearts are with you all.
Additionally, Vice President JD Vance also reached out to PM Modi in light of the Pahalgam terror attack, reiterating the United States’ commitment to support India during this difficult period.
