WEB DESK: Pakistan secured a military victory over India during the four-day conflict in May, according to the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission (USCC), despite India’s dismissal of these claims.
The report, presented to the US Congress, formally recognized Pakistan’s success in the brief war that unfolded from May 7 to May 10. The commission highlighted India’s significant defeat and emphasized the critical role played by Chinese weaponry in bolstering Pakistan’s military advantage.
Additionally, the report noted Pakistan’s effective use of Chinese weapons to neutralize French Rafale fighter jets. However, there were conflicting accounts regarding the exact number of jets brought down during the clash.
The findings further revealed that after Pakistan’s victory, Indonesia decided to cancel its planned purchase of Rafale aircraft, delivering a setback to the global reputation of these fighter jets.
