WASHINGTON: United States State Department spokesperson John Kirby on Thursday expressed satisfaction over the security of Pakistan’s nuclear assets and said that the nuclear weapons were completely in the government’s control.
While addressing a press briefing in Washington, Kirby said that US had no doubt about the security of Pakistan’s war heads and added that militants could never filch the weapon.
While talking about Kashmir issue, Kirby said that US policy did not change on Kashmir. He said that India and Pakistan will have to resolve the Kashmir issue through direct and bilateral dialogues.
Kirby said that US, Pakistan and United Nations will work jointly for the stability of the region. He said that war affected children in Pakistan, Afghanistan and India. Kirby said that he did not know about any online petition to declare Pakistan a terrorist state.
