According to the advisory, extremist groups continue to plot attacks in Pakistan, and terrorist attacks are common in Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The advisory also highlights that protests are not allowed in Pakistan without permission, and individuals found near protests may face investigation.
The advisory mentions that US citizens have been detained for participating in protests and for posting against the Pakistani government and military.
It also warns that terrorism has targeted civilians, the military, and police in indiscriminate attacks, and in the past, terrorists have targeted US diplomats and diplomatic locations.
