US offers talks to newly appointed Taliban leader

The United States of America has offered talks to newly appointed leader of Taliban.

The US states department spokesperson  Mark Toner has said that America is hopeful that new leader of Taliban will take use of opportunity of talks.

The spokesperson also expressed hope that Taliban will soon  switch to the way of dialogue.

Mark Toner said that it will be premature to say who will be hit by the US on the name of national security however he clarified that the new leader of Taliban Moulana Haibat Ullah is not in the US terrorist list.

It is pertinent to mention here that on last Friday the US had killed Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansoor in drone attack carried out in Naushki district of Baluchistan.

Taliban Shura on Wednesday has appointed Molana Haibat Ullah as new Taliban leader.

Before the US, the Afghan President has also offered talks to Taliban.
