US State Department spokesman John Kirby said while expressing concerns over tension between Pak-Afghan border at Torkham that were in contact with Afghanistan and Pakistan whereas could not further tension or violence in situation.
While giving media briefed, Kirby has said that both countries should express patient over Torkham border whereas we are urging to de-escalate the tension. Ambassador Richard Olson, Special representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan also talked from Pak-Afghan officials on the same matter in the meeting.
We have focused over firing incident at Pak-Afghan border whereas continuously in contact from both countries, Kirby elucidated. And US wants peaceful solution of the issue and did not want to see the situation further bad. He further stated that US had reservations over violation of human rights and also extra judicial killings while had updated regarding Karachi incidents.
