US presidential elections: Tough contest expected between Clinton and Trump

WASHINGTON: A tough contest is expected between Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trump in the forthcoming elections in the United States.

US presidential elections will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Political temperature in US is on its peak and world’s eyes on the elections. Donald Trump’s popularity decreased in US due to many scandals and he has to face criticism from different sectors but now emails scandal damaging Clinton’s popularity. Results of different surveys showed that Clinton leading with just three points.

30 million people have casted their votes by early voting in different states of US. Both candidates visiting different states and convincing the people to vote for them.

While addressing to a public rally in North Carolina, Clinton said that Trump could start wars easily and added that he is a selfish man. She continued that Trump will not care that who will have to bear the consequences of wars. Donald Trump also criticized Clinton saying that her position in the election was very weak. He said Clinton will have to go through accountability on emails’ issue.

US president Barack Obama again participated in Clinton’s election campaign in Florida.
