Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has applauded the efforts of cleric in the promotion of religious tolerance, solidarity and brotherhood in the country.
The CM Punjab on Sunday presided Ittehade Bain Ul Musalmeen committtee in which all the clerics of different sects attended.
Addressing the meeting, Usman Buzdar said that Pakistan is our country and we retire its debt by uniting on a platform while forgetting all the differences.
He said that clerics always guided the nation at all the occasions.The role of clerics can not be forgotten in the promotion of the religious tolerance while the government respects the services of the clerics, he added.
The CM said that everyone should play its positive role ensuring the religeous tolerance, brotherhood and peaceful enviroment.
