ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water Resources, Faisal Vawda on Thursday said past regimes of opposition parties were responsible for the long delay in its construction.
While addressing the groundbreaking ceremony of historic Mohmand dam, he said the Dam would reduce threats of floods, soil erosion and generate thousands of jobs, he said.
Vawda also dismissed reports of having issues with former Chief Justice (CJP) Saqib Nisar’s Dam fund campaign. “Fake campaign was launched against me for having issues with former CJP’s Dam fund campaign.”
He said the previous rulers had massively plundered the national wealth. Faisal Vawda appreciated the extended support of Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and former Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar for Mohmand dam.
