Islamabad: An anti-terrorism court of Islamabad on Tuesday announced verdict of the parliament attack case, which was lingering for years.
All the accused have been acquitted and released including President Arif Alvi.
The ATC approved bail pleas of ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) federal ministers and other leaders of the party.
The case was registered back in 2014 during the PTI sit-in at D-chowlk Islamabd which had continued for 126-days. While Dr Tahir Ul Qadri led Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) was also held the sit-in together with the PTI.
The activists and workers of the PTI and PTA had entered in the PTV headquarters which was declared an attack by the then government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
