Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has reserved verdict on terrorists’ treatment-related case on bail request of nominated suspects including Dr Asim till June 18.
The terrorists’ treatment-related case was heard at ATC, nominated suspects including Dr Asim were presented in the court, where suspects’ lawyers adopted stance in the court that charges against them are based on lies if there is any proof so it should be presented in the court.
Rangers’ lawyers adopted the stance that all suspects are nominated in JIT, told the court that former investigative officer was doing fair inquiry,who was removed by using political influence while current investigative officer is continuously influencing over the case and facts have been covered, the record which was rendered has been modified.
On the other hand, General Secretary of Pasban Usman Moazzam adopted stance that he has been on hunger strike from five days, who requested in the jail to allow him to perform Jumma prayer in congregation.
Thus he didn’t get permission, while his lawyer said that this case did not belonged to the case in which JIT was discussed as there are no evidence and no proofs against his client.
