Web Desk: Reema Khan, a veteran Pakistani actress recently visited Jerusalem with her family.
Reema was lucky enough to pray inside the holy Al-Aqsa mosque. Jerusalem is considered to be the third holiest place in the world for Muslims.
Sharing a glimpse of her trip, Reema writes: Thank ALLAH for the opportunity to visit Al-Aqsa Mosque last month and pray inside the Dome of the Rock –from where our last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) ascended to heaven on Shab-e-Mairaj. We also prayed at the place where before the ascension, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) led the prayer which was followed by one lac, 24,000 prophets.”
She further wrote: “We were fortunate to pray inside Al-Aqsa mosque and also very lucky to go inside the Dome and see the “Rock” – on which we believe, our last Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), ascended to heaven on the 27th day of the Islamic month of Rajab.”
