ISLAMABAD: A local court of Islamabad on Monday sent main accused Mian Tariq of the alleged video of Accountability Court (AC) judge Arshad Malik to jail on judicial remand.
The main accused Mian Tariq of the alleged video of the AC Judge Arshad Malik presented before the local court civil Judge Shaista Kundi.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) insisted further extension in his physical remand during the course of the hearing, however, the court rejected the FIA’s plea sent him to jail on the judicial remand till August 5.
The investigation officer of the case during the hearing informed the court that they made recoveries from his houses and a shop while a Toyota land cruiser.
To which, Mian Tariq viewed that the vehicle didn’t belong to him adding that he is a brain-tumor patient and he can lose his life if transferred to jail. On which the court ordered the FIA to provide the accused health facilities in jail.
