Vote has no Status, Public mandate insulted: Hafiz Naeem

KARACHI: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that the entire nation has been told that their vote has no status

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman Amir Jamaat-e-Islami ,While giving a press conference in Karachi said that the whole of Pakistan has told that public opinion cannot be changed by engineering. 

He said that the public mandate has been insulted. The process of Form 45 was stopped, the forms were asked to be given by 2 o’clock but the workers were not given the forms, the workers kept waiting for the whole night and the worst change was made when the Form 45 was received.

Hafiz Naeem said that the competition was between the independent candidate and JI. In the city, Jamaat-e-Islami won PS-91 by getting the most votes, while MQM was second. We have received form 47 in which MQM got only 5 thousand votes. Karachi did not even give five percent votes to MQM, the people of Karachi rejected them but today they are being imposed on us.  

He further said that we have the Election Commission in front of us, who can tell who is behind them, sometimes the mayor’s vote is captured, sometimes the provincial and national assembly’s mandate is captured. The vote has no status.
