Muzaffarabad: Voting time has come to an end in Local Bodies Elections (LBEs) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir while counting of votes has started.
The LBEs are being held in the AJK after a span of 31 years. The voting started at 9 am morning and continued till 5 pm uninterrupted.
In the first phase the political parties and independent candidates were clashing in three divisions of capital Muzaffarabad which include Muzaffarabad, Neelum Valey and Jehlum Valey.
As many as 458 candidates were contesting the elections for the district councilor.
The elections also has happened on the seats of union council (UC), Town Committee (TC), Municipal Committee (MC) and Municipal Corporations (MC).
