LAHORE: War over distribution of tickets for the general election in Pakistan Muslim league-N continued, PML-N decided not to give party tickets important leader including Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
According to the sources, ticket problems arose in PML-N after seat adjustment from IPP. However, consultations are still going on in the party to end the ongoing battle over ticket distribution. Efforts are on to resolve the case of Ayaz Sadiq, Rohail Asghar, Talal Chaudhry. Sources said that Rohail Asghar from NA 121 has given a clear indication to the party leadership to contest the election, 12 union council chairmen of NA 121 have supported Ayaz Sadiq.
Sources said that Ayaz Sadiq has also submitted papers in NA 119 and 117 and in the meeting held on Saturday, Ayaz Sadiq also presented his position and said that the people of the constituency said that they cannot fight for their rights. “I know how to be stubborn and persuasive but I am bound by party discipline.”
Sources said that the dispute between Ahsan Iqbal and Daniyal Aziz is also going on in Narowal, Ahsan Iqbal submitted the paper under NA 75 and Daniyal Aziz in PP 54, in PP 54 Daniyal Aziz wants to get his representative a ticket.
