Karachi: Leader of the Opposition in Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Syed Saif Uddin advocate has said that whole of Karachi is under the grip of the mafias.
Towns chairman of Jamat-e-Islami in the leadership of Saif Uddin advocate called on high-ups of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Services Improvement Project (KWSSIP) and informed them about the prevailing water crisis in the city.
Saif Udding advocate said that his party voiced against every mafia working in Karachi. After meeting with the hi-ups of KWSSIP he said that there is need of bringing improvement in water supply system.
He said that all the sewerage lines have choked and the city is drowned in the sewerage while he said that there is intense water shortage in Karachi.
At the occasion, the JI also submitted a memorandum to the KWSSIP officials.
