We Have Required Numbers For No-Confidence Motion: Abbasi

ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that we have as much trust in PPP as we need in them. We need 9 votes but we have more votes than that.

Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi speaking in AbbTakk News’s program Tonight with Fareeha said that the government members who are with us will be accommodated wherever possible.

Asked about the failure of the no-confidence motion, Abbasi said that after the failure of a no-confidence motion, it could happen for the second and the third time. We have invited the allies to say that running this government is neither in their interest nor in the interest of the country.

Talking about the situation in Punjab, he said that the people of the government are disappointed with Bazdar himself and we have no role in it. No-confidence motion will be considered in Punjab too. The first objective is National Assembly.

Asked about the neutrality of the Establishment, he said that according to the Constitution, the Establishment must be neutral. He said that early elections are needed because the country is not running.
