Karachi: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said that extension of K-IV will be started from December 10 while he demanded the World Bank (WB) that it release its part of the share for the project.
The CM Sindh said this while chairing a meeting with the WB country director and other officials of the bank.
The WB country director ensured provision of funds to the Sindh government.
Under the project operational reforms will be conducted in the Karachi Water Board and improvement of its water distribution system.
Syed Murad Ali Shah apprised the WB delegation that the Sindh government has issued its share of Rs 491 million.
The CM said that we wanted speedy work to be conducted on the K-IV extension project .
For the K-IV extension settlement of affected people has been completed Gadap area.
