Islamabad: Chief Justice (CJ) Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) Justice Yahya Afridi on Friday said that they wanted to bring betterment in the judicial system while work on establishment of a criminal trial court is underway.
The CJ was addressing at the Federal Judicial Academy in Islamabad. Justice Yahya Afridi said that judicial officers are being given trainings.
Justice Yahya Afridi said that the decisions should be given in a stipulated timings adding he has dream that the justice seekers come to court with confidence that they will get justice from the courts.
He apprised that a suggestion is under consideration to run the courts in two shifts adding we are also considering use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the judicial system.
The best law experts were hearing the cases on daily basis, he said.
He said that professionals, having no political backgrounds, young lawyers will be brought to the courts.
He said that as the CJ, he stands with an independents, impartial, honest and judicial officers.
The pending cases will be heard through the model courts, he added.
