We will not disappoint people on their grievances related to electricity bills, tax burden: Naeem

Islamabad: The Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman today (Monday) said that we will not disappoint people over hefty electricity bills, purchase of expensive electricity from the International Power Producers and tax burden on salaried class.

Talking to media today, the JI Chief Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that Punjab government is creating problems for itself.

Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman urged the Punjab government not to stop people from participation in the protest sit-in.

The JI chief said that the inflated electricity bills have made people completely disappointed.

He said that the JI has emerged as voice of the people adding that the people of the country have their hope attached with the sit-in

He said that we will not make people disappoint on their sufferings.

He apprised that the police have stopped women after cordoning from four sides. while he said to the federal and Punjab government hurdles will not affect anything to the sit-in.

He said that a protest sit-in in Lahore has also started while he informed that a historic women congregation will be held today.

He demanded the government to release our women activists and workers arrested in Lahore.

He said that middle salaried and poor clases have seriously in trouble owing to inflation as they could not made ends meet despite doing double jobs.

Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that small industries are ruining and the people are getting jobless while questioned that where this unemployment will go?

The JI Chief invited all the political parties to join us in the great struggle so that the country’s problems could be solved.
