Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) existing chairman Barrister Gohar Khan has said that the accountability court never decided such a verdict and it is a cruelty while we will take every injustice from votes on February 8.
Commenting on the accountability court judgment in the toshakhana case against the PTI founding chairman and his wife Bushra Bibi, Gohar Khan said that such verdicts are being awarded to provide happiness to a leader.
The PTI chairman said that despite having a counsel cross-questioning were not allowed.
He apprised that we said in 342 statement we wanted to produce a witness while he said that we will file the petition in the high court against the punishment.
He said that Imran’s wife Bushra Bibi was not nothing to do with the case as she didn’t take any gift in a personal capacity adding that his wife was sentenced to put pressure on Imran Khan.
The PTI chairman said that our righ of defence was also barred while he expressed hope that we will get a justice from the top court.
Gohar Khan appealed the workers to remain calm and have a courage that this punishment will end.
He said that we will take part in the elections fully adding these verdicts will not remain as Imran Khan is being subjugated to political victimization.
He said that an effort was made that voters and supporters turned disappoint but it will not happen.
He said that we will take every injustice revenge from vote on February 8 elections.
