Islamabad (July 06, 2018): The accountability court, hearing the Avenfield reference against the Sharif family all set to announce the reserved verdict today (July 6) but on the other hand Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif submitted a plea in the accountability court requesting to defer verdict in Avenfield reference for few days citing Kulsoom Nawaz’s critical health.

The accountability court decided to hear the Nawaz Sharif’s delay plea today. Hence it is not clear that the AC will announce its reserved verdict in Avenfield reference today or not.

It is pertinent to mention here that Nawaz Sharif had attached a new medical report of Begum Kalsoom Nawaz with the delay plea. The medical report submitted in the accountability court by the Sharif family revealed that Begum Kalsoom Nawaz was not required more cardiac support.

According to the report, a copy of which available to Abbtakk News, doctors are being tried to bring her in conscious in next 48 hours, however, the stay of their family to him was essential on the occasion.

“The stay of the family with Begum Kalsoom Nawaz on this crucial stage essential and more vital for her,” the medical report stated.

Earlier today former prime minister Nawaz Sharif requested the accountability court hearing corruption cases against him and his family to delay tomorrow’s announcement of the Avenfield properties reference verdict.

According to sources, the former premier’s counsel Zafir Khan submitted a request in Accountability Court-I today, stating that the former premier wants to be present in court when the verdict is read out.

The request also includes details of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz’s illness, due to which the former premier and his daughter Maryam have been in London since June 14.Talking to media outside Harley Street Clinic, Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif lashed out at the arrest of senior bureaucrat Fawad Hassan Fawad, who was arrested by NAB in Rs14 billion Ashiana Housing Scheme scam and termed it regrettable.

He said that he had heard the news of Fawad Hassan Fawad’s arrest, that was a condemn-able act by NAB.

Whereas strict and special security arrangements have been made for judicial complex because of the expected anti-Nawaz verdict in the Avenfield Reference against Sharif Family today, Friday.

According to the sources, heavy police contingency comprises of 241 police personnel are deployed inside the judicial complex, while all kind of sloganeering is banned in limits of the judicial complex.

Sources said that 200 police personnel are deployed around the judicial complex, while 40 personnel of special Branch have been deployed in and outside the complex.

“Unrelated persons is strictly be prohibited to enter inside the complex,” sources said adding that section 144 has also been imposed around the complex. The accountability court, hearing the Avenfield reference against the Sharif family will announce the reserved verdict on July 6 (today).

Earlier Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif on Thursday submitted a plea in the accountability court requesting to defer verdict in Avenfield reference for few days citing Kulsoom Nawaz’s critical health. On Wednesday, he made a request through a press conference in London to delay the decision for a few more days.
