LAHORE: The Prime Minister Imran Khan vowed on Saturday that he would not make false promises with the masses as he was elected democratic prime minister, not a king.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Jinnah Express Train in Lahore, PM said that he felt glad to inviting him for train inauguration as the government has the plan to spread the network of trains with the cooperation of China.
“I have the opinion that economically weak sections of society should be granted health cards and in favour of increment of the labourers’ salaries,” he said.
He mentioned that the rail track built in the British era has been completed its age and need to revamp it as motorways and highway being used only the elite class.
He said he will direct petroleum ministry to use the railway for the transportation of oil while the railway will also help in the promotion of tourism.
“Those go London to spend leisure time will spend their vacations in Pakistan,” he said.
